Property names and strings must use double quotes. Comments and trailing commas are not accepted. The tree limits deep or large branches to keep the page responsive, while the text output retains the full parsed document. JavaScript number precision applies to large integers.
A few things worth knowing
Does the formatter execute pasted code?
No. It uses JSON parsing and renders values as text. JavaScript expressions are not executed.
Why does a large branch show fewer items?
The tree shows up to 100 children per branch and 15 nesting levels. The output text and download still include all parsed values.
